Summary
Join OKX, a leading crypto exchange, as an Institutional Business Development Director to drive institutional sales across the Latam region. You will co-develop growth strategies, identify sales opportunities, and build a healthy pipeline. Responsibilities include identifying competency gaps, proposing solutions, guiding team members, developing client profiles, closing high-value deals, and ensuring client compliance. You will also articulate client feedback to senior management and lead special projects. This role requires an experienced sales professional with a proven track record, team management experience, regional market understanding, excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of institutional crypto products.
Requirements
- Experienced sales professional with a proven track record of building prospect pipelines, developing opportunities and closing deals
- Experience in managing a team
- Understands regional territory and what it takes to build a high value sales pipeline
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Extensive knowledge of products that we offer for institutional clients (Block Trading, Derivatives such as Perps/Futures/Options/Margin, Cash OTC)
- Demonstrate high tenacity, grit & determination and proactiveness
Responsibilities
- Co-develop growth strategies with the Team Leader for the regional teams and propose strategies on how to achieve them
- Identify and drive institutional sales opportunities. Build a healthy pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective opportunities from consulting, educating, planning to advisory with institutional clients in the Latam region
- Identify competency gaps in the regional teams and propose strategies on how to bridge them
- Proactively propose solutions and work collaboratively with the PM team to customize and resolve complex issues, for both self and for the team
- Be able to provide guidance to all team members on strategizing and prioritizing sales opportunities
- Develop client profiling - identify previous success cases and develop them into viable, replicable efforts to repeat success and where marketing efforts should be channelled
- Close sales opportunities with particular focus on high revenue, high impact value deals
- Ensure prospects or new clients are good standing and will not introduce risk to the OKX business, be it financial reputation, regulatory or others
- Articulate client feedback and gaps in service/product offerings to senior management teams and product related teams with suggested proposals
- Lead special projects within the wider team
