Join Journey, a leading proactive mental health solution company, as their Director of Strategic Alliances/Consultant Relations. Reporting to the SVP, Sales & Consultant Relations, you will spearhead the development of partnerships with top benefits consultants. This crucial role involves managing partner relationships, executing partnership marketing and sales strategies, tracking performance, and providing strategic recommendations. Collaboration with internal teams is essential. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience working with brokers and consultants in the health and wellness sector, particularly within early-stage startups. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working with consultants, brokers, and partners (i.e. WTW, Mercer, Gallagher, Aon, Lockton, Alliant, etc.) in a similar capacity at a health and wellness company
  • Early-stage (<25 employees) startup experience is a must
  • Consistent over-achievement in quota and revenue goals

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic partnerships with key benefits consultants and maintain strong relationships, serving as the main contact for partnership-related matters
  • Educate consultants on Journeyโ€™s products and capabilities while understanding their and their clients' needs
  • Serve as the liaison between internal teams and external consultants to foster strong partnerships, smooth collaboration, and aligned deliverables
  • Manage consultant deals, collaborate with the Sales Director, and lead RFP process for consultant-led opportunities
  • Track partnership performance, provide leadership insights, and adjust strategies accordingly
  • In partnership with the internal marketing team, design and execute outreach and nurture strategies to consultants
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align partnership initiatives with company goals
  • Stay informed on industry trends and represent Journey at relevant events to build and expand partnerships
