Summary
Join Samsara's passionate sales team in Mexico as a Mid Market Sales Director! Lead and mentor a team of sales managers and account executives, driving revenue growth in the mid-market segment. This remote position requires 10+ years of sales experience, including 3+ years managing sales teams in Mexico. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential. Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record in managing complex sales cycles from prospecting to close
- 3+ years of experience directly managing, motivating, and developing a quota-carrying field sales team, including second-line managers and account executives
- Proven experience leading full-cycle sales efforts in the Mexico market
- Consistent history of quota attainment and over-achievement
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and accurate sales forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, diverse product offerings, and extended sales timelines
- Self-starter with a high level of adaptability to changing environments
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and derive insights from sales analytics
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Must be based in Mexico
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of second line Sales Managers and their Account Executives, driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning, execution, and relationship building with key Mid Market accounts
- Provide mentorship, training, and ongoing support to sales team members, ensuring a high level of performance and achievement of sales targets
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to capture new business opportunities, expand market share, and increase customer retention in the mid-market segment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and customer success to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of mid-market clients
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop performance metrics, track sales results, and drive alignment with overall company goals
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies, optimize pipeline development, and enhance overall sales performance
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsaraβs cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
- Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
