Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Director of Accounting or in a senior accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the global accounting operations, including GL, Revenue Operations, AP and AR
  • Lead the month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Streamline and improve close timelines and processes
  • Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and government reporting requirements
  • Optimize accounting systems and financial processes for efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including HR, FP&A, Sales, etc
  • Lead and develop the accounting team; provide training and support to enhance skills and performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate accounting, financial planning, or audit
  • Background in both public accounting and private industry preferred
  • Knowledge of SEC reporting and SOX compliance (if applicable)
