Requirements
- Have a Master's degree either directly focused on data analytics or one with significant data analytics coursework, or equivalent experience
- Have 10+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with 5+ years in a management role, specifically leading and developing high-performing BI teams
Responsibilities
- Work seamlessly with stakeholders across Aledade, ensuring BI insights are integrated into decision-making, reflecting our value of evidence and mission to improve healthcare
- Serve as an organizational leader, developing strong working relationships built on confidence, mutual respect, honesty, and trust
- Foster collaborative decision-making, remove barriers to collaboration, and act as a conduit for technical communication across the organization
- Manage a team of managers and professionals, fostering a culture of inclusion, belonging, and accountability
- Provide technical and career mentorship, along with timely performance feedback
- Mentor managers on developing their skills, providing feedback, setting goals, and ensuring growth plans for their teams
- Consistently conduct 1:1s with direct and skip-level reports to maintain a strong understanding of engagement levels
- Provide input to strategic decisions within your domain, including roadmapping and developing the annual budget, aligned with our commitment to curiosity and long-term success
- Contribute to defining product technical roadmaps and oversee the development of effective technology business cases, demonstrating an understanding of business value creation
- Help coordinate organizational strategies for metric and KPI governance, design, implementation, integration, and usage, embodying our values of evidence and accountability
- Drive the definition and capture of key business process metrics
- Direct and oversee high-level strategic and tactical decisions for business intelligence tools and applications
- Advocate for developer tools and technologies where efficiency gains are valuable and productivity savings exceed transition and licensing costs
Preferred Qualifications
- Have deep knowledge of value-based care principles, metrics, and industry trends
- Be expert in developing technology business cases for healthcare
- Have advanced skills in SQL, relational databases, data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization (Tableau)
- Be familiar with advanced analytics and cloud platforms
- Have extensive experience in data management and manipulation, particularly with healthcare data (claims, EHR, clinical)
- Leverage performance metrics to identify team strengths and encourage knowledge sharing
- Have outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business insights
- Proactively address evolving needs and risk mitigation
- Have an in-depth understanding of healthcare, including value-based care, population health, and HIPAA compliance
- Have experience with healthcare data sources and behavioral health
- Mentor teams in backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Be skilled in managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
- Be proficient with Agile methodologies, directing teams to navigate execution challenges and prioritize effectively
