Director of Business Operations

Summary

The job is for a Director of Business Operations at Rula, focusing on special projects as the business grows. The candidate should have 8+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or business operations and strategy roles at high-growth startups, and advanced proficiency in SQL and GSheets/Excel. Excellent communication skills are required, and familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, experience working within a fast-paced startup environment, and expertise in directly running and overseeing projects end to end are preferred.

Requirements

• 8+ years of demonstrated high performance in management consulting, investment banking, and/or business operations and strategy roles at high-growth startups
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and GSheets/Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly strategic and insightful

Responsibilities

• Partner with executives across the company to structure special projects and initiatives
• Set concrete goals for those projects
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute the work necessary to get the projects over the line

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity using Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) to communicate insights to stakeholders across an organization
• Expertise in directly running and overseeing projects end to end
• Experience working within a fast paced, highly dynamic startup environment
