Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in lifecycle or retention marketing
  • Proven ability to create and execute customer engagement strategies
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive decision-making
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and analytics software - we use Braze, Iterable, and Hubspot
  • Expertise in email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering
  • Familiarity with marketplace, fintech, or real estate sectors
  • Passion for testing, learning, and implementing new marketing approaches
  • Deep understanding of segmentation and personalized communication strategies
  • Track record of improving engagement, retention, and monetization metrics
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive projects and inspire teams

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute lifecycle marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention
  • Design and launch integrated marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels
  • Manage promotions and referral programs to drive sustainable growth and engagement
  • Identify key moments in the member and host lifecycle to enhance onboarding, activation, and advocacy
  • Analyze performance metrics and extract insights to optimize marketing strategies
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to refine automation and personalization
  • Lead A/B testing to optimize engagement and retention strategies
  • Manage notification channels to ensure timely and personalized communication
  • Build segmentation and behavioral triggers for tailored marketing messages
  • Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate best practices into marketing efforts
