Requirements
- Significant experience in operations and finance leadership roles, preferably within a tech or SaaS environment
- Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that align with organizational goals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of building high-performing teams
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote working environment and able to adapt to changing circumstances
- Deep understanding of financial principles, including forecasting, and internal auditing
Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives. This includes in particular reviewing our financial statements with our finance team and communicating it to our stakeholders (including our investors)
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations (such as sales tax, lodging tax, KYC & AML processing) and develop strategies to mitigate operational risks. This includes for example inter-company transfer pricing, GDPR and SOC-II Type 2 compliance, and management of employees across our entities and setup
- Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across departments. This includes in particular protecting our margin with procurement, and specific operations-led projects in the company (such as internationalization, or NetSuite automation)
- Be the go-to contact for our 50+ team for all things administrative in nature
Benefits
- Total cost of employment (irrespective of contractor or employee status) for this role is within $175,000 - $195,000 depending exclusively on the cost of living in your location
- For example, taking into account payroll taxes and cost of benefits, the same cost of employment results in a gross compensation of $149,000 to $165,000 in the United States
