Summary
Join our team as the Director of Operations and lead four teams responsible for transaction coordination, communications, recruiting, and listing marketing. You will be accountable for achieving well-defined KPIs that drive profitability and operational success.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience
- At least 2 years managing distributed/virtual teams
- Proven track record of upholding quality standards and consistently meeting performance metrics
- Strong ability to work in close partnership with senior leadership, particularly in aligning big-picture strategies with day-to-day execution
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and make data-driven decisions
- Deep understanding of leading and lagging indicators and how they drive business growth and profitability
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a passion for coaching, development, and recruiting
Responsibilities
- Hold department managers accountable for achieving well-defined KPIs that drive profitability and operational success
- Maintain day-to-day operations to meet or exceed company standards for consistency, stability, and reliability
- Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to prioritize strategic initiatives and break them down into smaller, manageable tasks for execution
- Make data-driven decisions based on the understanding of leading and lagging indicators, ensuring both short-term and long-term growth
- Conduct regular performance inspections, including 1:1 meetings, weekly management team meetings, and give continuous feedback
- Perform quality audits, evaluate processes, and identify gaps to reduce costs and improve overall operational efficiency
- Lead value-based coaching calls with team members, focusing on development, improvement, and achieving personal and departmental goals
- Ensure company-wide and departmental rocks (quarterly priorities) are completed within set timeframes
- Oversee the recruiting team to identify open positions and recruit top talent, ensuring high-performance teams are continually built and maintained
- Prepare and present performance reports to the leadership team, highlighting challenges, proposed action plans, and key results
- Identify, discuss, and solve operational issues quickly and effectively
