Requirements

  • Proven experience crafting and advocating for an ambitious, inspiring product vision
  • Strong foundation in continuous discovery practices and leading teams to practice them effectively
  • Deep experience in product discovery, experimentation, and validation
  • Track record of delivering significant business outcomes through product work
  • Strong connection to business outcomes and clear vision for how product management drives a company’s mission
  • Experience with technical products and enterprise sales cycles
  • Relentless curiosity about users - you deeply understand their pains and motivations
  • Natural ability to communicate product strategy and make complex technical concepts accessible
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to present product decisions clearly to diverse audiences
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product management function for one of our product domains, including instrumentation, frontend observability, and initial customer experience
  • Drive our product strategy for customer acquisition and early success, defining how we can make observability immediately valuable to new users
  • Immerse yourself in the Day 0 to Day 1 experience of engineers adopting Honeycomb and help your team create compelling onboarding experiences
  • Build strong working relationships with peer directors and ensure smooth handoffs as customers progress from Land to Expand phases
  • Define and promote practices that make Honeycomb instantly accessible while setting customers up for long-term success
  • Establish KPIs that measure the impact of early customer experience improvements, from first contact through successful activation
  • Collaborate across domains to ensure a coherent customer journey from Day 0 through Day 2 and beyond

Preferred Qualifications

Background in developer platforms, observability, or adjacent spaces is valuable
