Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing leadership roles, preferably in technology sectors such as cloud, CRM or marketing solutions
- Have experience scaling marketing operations in organizations with revenue exceeding $50M
- Be a self-starter who is ready to dive-in on day one, move quickly, and be not only willing, but excited to be tactical during your first year as our only PMM, setting the foundation for building a team within 9-12 months
- Have a proven track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance market leadership
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to diverse audiences
- Demonstrate success in leading, growing, and inspiring high-performing and diverse marketing teams
- Have the ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments
- Have the ability to speak to and engage with audiences on key topics relative to the company or industry
- Be a creative thinker capable of bringing innovative ideas to fruition
- Have a proven ability to thrive under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and succeed in competitive environments
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CMO and various teams to develop and execute product marketing strategies that position Virtuous and our Responsive Fundraising framework and platform as the catalyst for Nonprofit transformation
- Craft compelling stories that communicate the differentiated value and impact of our solutions on Nonprofit fundraising and other critical business functions
- Conduct thorough market research and align with key industry analysts to identify trends and opportunities for disruption and competitive differentiation within the Nonprofit domain
- Lead go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and adoption while working closely with our demand generation team to maximize the impact of inbound and outbound campaigns
- Align closely with Product Management on the product roadmap and provide marketing inputs to influence feature development, market expansion and pricing and packaging
- Work with Sales, SDR, Enablement, Customer Success and other customer and prospect-facting teams to align product vision and marketing strategies with their needs and goals
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Define and track key metrics to measure the success of product marketing initiatives
- Partner with Virtuous leadership, team and channel partners to develop content and visionary insights on the future of nonprofit fundraising, data and benchmarking, AI and technology to position Virtuous as an industry thought leader
- Build, manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence while building the teamβs capacity to scale and deliver in a high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Have first-hand knowledge or experience working in nonprofit or nonprofit fundraising
- Have a solid understanding of the unique needs and trends of the industry and a passion for driving innovation and change
