Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent business or technical education
  • 5+ years’ experience in Solutions Engineering or Technical Leadership Role, ideally in a distributed environment
  • 5+ years’ experience in security pre-sales / SE management roles
  • General knowledge of SaaS/cloud security and API based security solutions
  • Exceptional oral, presentation and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving ability and can-do attitude
  • Ability to articulate complex topics to novice or technical audience, and to translate technical advantages into business benefits
  • Engaged, positive attitude able to prioritize in a demanding environment
  • Ability to travel

Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, and challenge the US SE team, giving guidance on individual and company objectives
  • Lead, recruit, and develop high-caliber Solutions Engineers
  • Onboard new hires and ensure all solutions engineers are ready to perform their duties in sales cycles
  • Support personal career development of Solutions Engineers
  • Ensure all tasks are completed and performed at the highest level of quality
  • Ensure the team is up to speed on the latest Positioning and Demonstration Content and Practices
  • Deliver high-quality deliverables to customers following and nurturing best practices
  • Be personally involved in the most important US sales cycles to ensure the highest possibility of success
  • Contribute to or own technical sales cycles
  • Motivate the team to share best practices, analyze latest market trends and contribute to sales material
  • Work closely with US Sales Directors and other AppOmni leadership teams to optimize the AppOmni technical engagement process and experience provided to customers
  • Act as a liaison between customers, prospects, and AppOmni product management for feature and function requests
  • Complete AppOmni demonstrations and presentations of the AppOmni platform
  • Assist and help lead the implementation of AppOmni in proof of concepts together with assigned solution engineers
