Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role directly managing Account Executives within the Public Safety Technology Sector (or related fields)
  • Deep understanding of Public Safety/ 911 agencies and the unique challenges they face
  • Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills and strategic planning abilities with a track record of developing successful sales strategies for the largest Public Safety agencies in the country
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and foster meaningful relationships with clients
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales teams
  • Highly motivated and adaptable, ready to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment, with a resilience that matches the urgency of public safety challenges
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the region to meet with clients and understand their needs firsthand
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development in the public safety technology landscape

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of high-performing Strategic Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration
  • Develop and execute targeted initiatives for new customer acquisition in the Public Safety market, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to craft informed and effective sales strategies
  • Work closely with the sales leadership team and other company departments to refine and implement sales strategies that effectively address regional market needs and opportunities
  • Oversee and guide the team in nurturing and sustaining customer and partner relationships, playing a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Contribute to updating and maintaining the sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer feedback to optimize sales efforts and outcomes
