Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product management with a track record of leading empowered teams that deliver high-impact, user-centric products
- 4+ years of experience managing teams, with a proven ability to inspire, mentor, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment that encourages innovation
- Proven experience in creating and executing product strategies that balance short-term objectives with long-term growth and innovation
- Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making, prioritization, and strategy development
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior executives
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, enabling you to align product initiatives with broader organizational goals and market trends
- Demonstrable experience using AI-driven tools or frameworks to optimize product development workflows, customer insights, and operational efficiency
- Reside in one of the following locations: California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York (excluding Boroughs), North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a clear, student-centric product strategy and roadmap that drives business growth across our driving, real estate, insurance, and other emerging educational verticals
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of product managers to ensure successful roadmap development and execution
- Foster a culture of empowerment where team members define key results and solve well-framed problems independently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience, to drive product initiatives from concept through launch, ensuring they meet student needs and achieve business objectives
- Create and update roadmaps while also driving focused quarterly planning via a groomed backlog of initiatives
- Measure and analyze key product metrics to assess performance, inform decision-making, and guide strategic planning for ongoing product enhancements
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation
- Manage the agile development processes to ensure appropriate prioritization and timely delivery of roadmap items and day to day requirements from stakeholders
- Work with our performance Marketing teams, including Paid/SEO/Nurture and other areas, to define go-to-market strategy and launch plans
- Align product strategy with revenue growth goals and customer lifetime value (LTV), collaborating closely with Finance and Marketing teams to refine pricing, packaging, and monetization approaches
- Drive initiatives that optimize operational efficiency through the integration of AI-driven tools and methodologies, enhancing decision-making, process efficiency, and the teamβs ability to deliver impactful solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude
- Mobile product development experience
- Educational product development experience
- CMS and LMS experience
