Summary

Join Precision Medicine Group as the Head of European and APAC Talent Acquisition, a remote role leading a global recruitment team. You will report to the VP, Global Head of TA, driving the talent acquisition agenda and supporting broader HR strategy. This pivotal role involves shaping talent acquisition strategies, optimizing processes, and delivering strong financial results across Europe and APAC. You will collaborate with stakeholders, leverage data-driven decision-making, and build a high-performing team. The ideal candidate possesses extensive leadership experience in talent acquisition within the European and APAC markets, ideally in a global staffing or recruitment context, and a deep understanding of European employment laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in agency recruitment or in-house talent acquisition, with 5 years in a management role overseeing multi-country recruitment efforts including Europe and APAC countries

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate success in delivering results at scale in multiple countries
  • Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing, geographically dispersed talent acquisition team
  • Increase business partnership of the Talent Acquisition team by positioning TA as a strategic advisor to the business and hiring leaders on talent-related matters
  • Optimise recruitment processes for efficiency, scalability, and regulatory compliance, providing best practices in recruitment
  • Implement a comprehensive EU/APAC global talent acquisition strategy which aligns with the company's objectives, growth plans, and location strategy
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and senior leadership, to understand hiring needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly
  • Provide executive communication to stakeholders and partners using consulting, influencing, data, and insights
  • Partner and co-own current hiring and future pipeline requirements with our sourcing team, with a specific focus on niche & business-critical skill areas
  • Leverage long-term relationships with talent pools and communities across the industry
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving capabilities to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making
  • Develop a comprehensive approach which integrates multiple concepts to create an innovative sourcing strategy for the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or HR certification
  • You currently live in the U.K. or Europe
  • You have previous experience working within biotech and/or pharmaceutical industries or at a clinical research organization (CRO)
  • You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of European employment laws, labour market trends, and regulatory frameworks
  • You have extensive leadership experience in talent acquisition within the European and APAC markets, ideally in a global staffing or recruitment context
