Summary

The Engagement Manager role is a fully remote position within Precision Medicine Group's Personalized Access & Reimbursement team. The employee will serve as the primary client liaison, manage project teams, mentor others, and ensure client satisfaction in the pharmaceutical and biotech space.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor degree required
  • 4-8 years’ experience of Pharmaceuticals, Managed Markets Consulting or Managed Markets agency experience with broad based experience in sales, managed care, marketing and/or analytics

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client liaison, build strong and lasting relationships with clients, achieve client’s marketing objectives, lead development of communications strategies, resolve issues around project scope, fees, timing, or progress
  • Manage project teams including both internal and external resources in the design, development and delivery of client solutions
  • Leverage business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approach to client questions
  • Proactively mentor, coach and share subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients
  • Serving as key point of contact with clients, managing the process of proposal preparation and/or modifications including overall bid integrity
  • Providing follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction
  • Developing broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through on the job experience and training
  • Providing direction, advice and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams, through consistent participation in team meetings
  • Proactively identifying Business Development opportunities and coordinate follow up efforts
  • Provides high level input and ensures the development of client records and presentations and delivers all or significant portions of findings to client
  • Leading ad hoc work streams on critical people-related issues such as recruitment, learning and development
  • Ensuring clear communication throughout projects and amongst team
  • Ability to travel 15-50% of the time depending on project assignment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters or MBA
  • Defined experience within Commercial Strategy
  • Demonstrable experience in the following areas: leadership and influence in sizable and multi-disciplined teams, understanding and assessing client needs, incorporating in deliverables, and ensuring recommendations/results are implemented
  • Experience in developing credible relationships with senior level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
