ERP and Business Systems Manager

Summary

Join a market-leading consumer products company as their ERP & Business Systems Manager. This remote role, with occasional travel to Waco, TX, offers the chance to lead digital transformation, optimize ERP/EDI platforms, and directly influence business efficiency and growth. Reporting to the CEO, you will manage and optimize the ERP system and Boomi EDI platform, develop and execute a technology roadmap, and implement AI-driven automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and provide technical support to the manufacturing facility. This is an opportunity to own IT strategy and drive real business impact, collaborating with executive leadership on high-impact technology decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ERP, EDI, or business systems management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong ERP & EDI expertise in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment
• Hands-on experience with Boomi (EDI), SQL-based reporting (Metabase), and process optimization
• Ability to evaluate and implement AI-driven business improvements. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technology into business value

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the ERP system (CTEC or similar) and Boomi EDI platform to improve efficiency across supply chain, finance, and manufacturing
• Ensure data-driven decision-making through SQL-based reporting and business intelligence (Metabase)
• Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business growth and digital transformation initiatives
• Identify and implement AI-driven automation to improve productivity and streamline processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess inefficiencies and deploy tech-driven process improvements
• Integrate business systems across supply chain, finance, and eCommerce to enhance operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with data security regulations and best practices for risk management and system protection
• Work with external IT vendors to maintain secure, cost-effective, and scalable IT solutions
• Provide technical support for the Waco, TX manufacturing facility and implement ERP-driven solutions to optimize factory operations

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, payment processing, etc.) and cloud computing (Google Cloud preferred)
