Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, ideally within the ad tech or technology sector
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful events and trade shows, and strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically with a focus on measurable business outcomes
  • Creative and proactive, with a passion for marketing and delivering high-quality events
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and build relationships with external partners
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms like Salesforce or Hubspot

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy for GroundTruth that drives brand awareness and generates leads
  • Strategically assess and select the right events to develop brand awareness and strengthen our market positioning
  • Manage the full event lifecycle from concept to execution, including logistics, promotion, company decks/presentations for the event, and post-event follow-up
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to ensure events align with business goals and messaging, as well as external partners (clients and vendors) during all phases of planning
  • Track complex budgets, including contract and vendor negotiations, and measure the impact and ROI of events by incorporating tracking into projects, recapping events, and driving leads
  • Create and execute a holistic pre, during, and post-event marketing plan via email, social media, direct outreach, website, and partnerships with industry organizations
  • Generate qualified leads from events and ensure a smooth handoff to the sales team, maintaining engagement throughout the sales funnel
  • Manage inventory of promotional products (swag) and gifting
  • Support other team initiatives as needed
