Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, ideally within the ad tech or technology sector
- Proven track record of planning and executing successful events and trade shows, and strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Ability to think strategically and analytically with a focus on measurable business outcomes
- Creative and proactive, with a passion for marketing and delivering high-quality events
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and build relationships with external partners
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms like Salesforce or Hubspot
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy for GroundTruth that drives brand awareness and generates leads
- Strategically assess and select the right events to develop brand awareness and strengthen our market positioning
- Manage the full event lifecycle from concept to execution, including logistics, promotion, company decks/presentations for the event, and post-event follow-up
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to ensure events align with business goals and messaging, as well as external partners (clients and vendors) during all phases of planning
- Track complex budgets, including contract and vendor negotiations, and measure the impact and ROI of events by incorporating tracking into projects, recapping events, and driving leads
- Create and execute a holistic pre, during, and post-event marketing plan via email, social media, direct outreach, website, and partnerships with industry organizations
- Generate qualified leads from events and ensure a smooth handoff to the sales team, maintaining engagement throughout the sales funnel
- Manage inventory of promotional products (swag) and gifting
- Support other team initiatives as needed
