Summary

Join Anzen, a company revolutionizing the wholesale insurance market with AI, as their Field Marketing & Events Manager. You will be responsible for building and scaling a national field events program to engage brokers, accelerate sales, and enhance Anzen's reputation. This role demands owning the entire event lifecycle, from strategy and planning to execution and post-event analysis. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure events drive revenue and build strong broker relationships. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely or in San Francisco and be part of a rapidly growing company backed by top-tier investors. Success in this role will be measured by event attendance, conversion rates, impact on broker relationships, and the development of a repeatable playbook for high-ROI community growth.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years in B2B field marketing, growth marketing, or sales-driven events—especially in SaaS, fintech, or productivity tech
  • Experience running roadshows, customer dinners, or GTM activations (not just conferences or tradeshows)
  • Hands-on producer who can handle strategy and logistics solo or with light support
  • Strong judgment on budget trade-offs, brand-aligned experiences, and what actually converts

Responsibilities

  • Own national field events: Run a rolling calendar of high-impact broker dinners, social hours, and strategic activations across key markets (LA, NYC, Chicago, Nashville, SF, and more)
  • Drive revenue, not just RSVPs: Partner with GTM and Sales to target high-value brokers, build smart guest lists, and ensure events create real sales momentum
  • Bring the brand to life: Turn Anzen’s positioning—efficient, smart, premium—into memorable physical and digital experiences
  • Execute fast, spend wisely: Use curated venues, sharp invites, authentic conversation, and fast follow-up—not bloated budgets—to drive results
  • Run logistics end-to-end: Save-the-dates, vendor coordination, swag, exec participation, post-event comms—own it all
  • Track event ROI: Measure broker conversion, deal flow, and sales velocity before and after each event. Build a scalable playbook of what works
  • Bridge GTM functions: Keep Sales, Marketing, and Leadership aligned so every event delivers maximum return

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bonus: experience in regulated, trust-based industries (e.g. finance, healthcare, insurance)
  • You’ve built from zero-to-one before—whether standing up a field marketing motion or running events that punch way above their budget
  • You’re a doer who loves designing the system, not just executing it
  • A national calendar of well-run broker events with >70% attendance and >30% conversion
  • Measurable impact on broker relationships and qualified deal volume
  • A repeatable field events playbook for high-ROI community growth
  • Anzen becomes known not just for AI—but for being the best relationship builder in commercial insurance
