Field Service Technician

Summary

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience or a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in a similar technical role
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications is a plus
• Proficient in both German and English, with strong verbal and written skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to independently devise creative solutions to customer issues
• Availability for standby duty for service provision outside of office hours

Responsibilities

• Install packaging systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Rework, assemble, and upgrade machines and equipment
• Handle service requests independently
• Provide written feedback as required
• Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, supervision, and support for delivered projects and products
• Respond to emergency repairs and troubleshoot issues
• Resolve registered machine and equipment interruptions
• Involve third parties when necessary
• Deliver onsite training to customers and operators
• Transform complaints into long-term improvements
