Summary
Join our team as a General Manager to launch, operate, and integrate new service lines and distribution channels. You will be responsible for top-line growth and profitability, working strategically and operationally. Success requires strong financial acumen, experience in launching new products or services, and proficiency in SQL and spreadsheets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, growth-focused, and adept at process optimization. Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in building, either as an early start-up employee, launching new businesses within a larger company, or an ex-founder
- Strong financial acumen (i.e., be able to navigate a P&L statement and have frameworks to justify investment/spend)
- A demonstrated experience in launching new or scaling new products, services, or distribution channels
- Proficiency with SQL and GSheets/Excel
Responsibilities
- Launch, operate, and integrate new service lines and distribution channels into the core business
- Be responsible for top-line growth and profitability of your area
- Thrive at multiple levels, including strategic planning (building business cases, developing plans, and running weekly operating cadences) and day-to-day operations (building and running processes, building reports, and working with customers)
- Build/run scrappy & manual processes
- Build reports
- Work with customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience owning a P&L or a revenue number
- Broad knowledge of business processes & functions (HR, Finance, Support, Operations, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
- Demonstrated experience in partnering with cross-functional teams to stand up, optimize, and scale new processes and systems to spearhead growth
- Expertise in writing technical requirements, project plans/updates, experiment results, and strategy documents
