General Manager

Summary

Join Tonkean as the General Manager for ProcurementWorks and play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling a transformative product. You will define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, collaborating with procurement leaders and customers to enhance the product. This role involves overseeing successful delivery and implementation, establishing scalable processes, and leading cross-functional collaboration. You will build and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship and guidance. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in procurement, enterprise SaaS, or consulting, with a proven track record of building and scaling enterprise software products. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, enterprise SaaS, or consulting with a strong focus on product development
• Background in procurement technology or a related field, preferably with experience at companies like Coupa, Ariba, Zip, or similar
• Hands-on experience developing workflows, user stories, and product requirements tailored to procurement teams
• Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise software products with a focus on usability, scalability, and customer success
• Experience managing complex enterprise implementations and transitioning products toward more scalable, repeatable delivery models
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of an organization
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to drive product success
• Deep understanding of procurement processes, challenges, and opportunities, with a strong commitment to solving problems in this space
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for ProcurementWorks, ensuring it meets market needs and exceeds customer expectations
• Collaborate with procurement leaders and customers to develop detailed workflows, user stories, and requirements that enhance the product
• Act as a bridge between ProcurementWorks and the core Tonkean platform, ensuring needed features and updates are communicated and prioritized with the main product team
• Oversee the successful delivery and implementation of ProcurementWorks for enterprise customers, ensuring it meets promised outcomes
• Establish scalable processes and frameworks to streamline delivery over time, moving toward a plug-and-play model
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with customer success and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and adoption
• Work closely with revenue and marketing teams to align on positioning, messaging, and customer feedback
• Partner with Deloitte and other consulting partners to enhance implementation services and ensure successful rollouts
• Collaborate with the engineering team to prioritize and execute platform-level features required for ProcurementWorks
• Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers and delivery specialists dedicated to ProcurementWorks
• Provide mentorship and guidance, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and execution

• The targeted base salary for the General Manager, ProcurementWorks role ranges from $200,000 to $225,000 annually , depending on the candidate’s location, skills, and experience.
