Summary

Join OpStart, a finance function for startups, as their GTM Lead. This senior individual contributor role requires building and running growth from the ground up. You will own the top of the funnel, test various growth channels, establish partnerships, develop content, build scalable processes, and refine messaging. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and relentless executor with experience in growth, demand generation, or marketing at an early-stage B2B company. This is a hands-on role with high autonomy and ownership, perfect for someone who wants to make a significant impact.

Requirements

  • Be a strategic thinker and relentless executor
  • Have experience in growth, demand generation, or marketing, ideally at an early-stage B2B company
  • Be comfortable executing marketing campaigns across various channels and measuring their success
  • Be a clear, compelling communicator who understands how to develop the right messages for our audience
  • Be adept at building systems and processes that scale without creating complexity
  • Be energized by doing the work yourself – whether writing blog posts, crafting messaging, sending cold emails, or launching campaigns from scratch
  • Be comfortable operating in a high-trust, low-structure environment where you’re free to strategize but expected to execute

Responsibilities

  • Own the top of the funnel – drive awareness, generate leads, and nurture interest, while our CEO focuses on closing deals
  • Test various channels (paid, organic, referral, outbound, etc.) and double down on what works best
  • Establish and strengthen partnerships with VCs, accelerators, and other ecosystem players to drive referrals
  • Develop long-form content, repackage it into smaller tidbits, and optimize it for inbound lead generation
  • Build automated, scalable marketing and sales processes
  • Create and refine messaging and positioning to resonate with startup founders and investors
  • Measure, analyze, and report on growth KPIs, iterating for continuous improvement
  • Operate independently in the early months, owning execution across channels
  • Execute a human-centric approach to marketing that reflects the service-driven nature of our business (i.e., we are not a SaaS or FinTech product, and product-led growth is not applicable for us)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience in Startups & Venture Capital – Know our customers and key referral partners
  • Have experience in Accounting, Finance & Taxes – Understand what we’re selling and why it matters
  • Have experience in B2B Marketing & Growth – Proven track record of generating pipeline and accelerating growth
  • Have experience Leading or Scaling Growth at an Early-Stage Company
