Summary

Reddit is expanding globally and seeking a growth-minded leader to act as a cross-functional driver connecting community relations, content creation & curation, and product management. The Country Growth Lead will be responsible for driving ecosystem growth in key markets by nurturing and managing communities, guiding content initiatives, and spearheading growth marketing efforts. This is a 1-year contract role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to take initiative and drive projects independently
• Proven track record of team leadership experience is a plus
• 7+ years of experience in operations, marketing, or a tech-related background
• A healthy blend of operations, growth marketing, and community/content expertise
• Data-driven and analytical mindset, proficiency in excel modeling and knowledge of SQL
• Passion for combining systems-thinking with data analysis to drive impactful decisions
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, users, moderators, partners, content creators, and influencers
• Results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for execution and attention to detail
• Innate knowledge of market culture including language, current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, topics of interest, and taboos

Responsibilities

• Steer and operationalize a small local community and content team to drive ecosystem growth and maintain overall ecosystem health
• Apply a creative, entrepreneurial approach, constantly driving your market pod and cross-functional partners to test and evaluate new ideas for local growth and engagement
• Execute comprehensive community strategies to grow and nurture local communities and maintain a healthy and thriving ecosystem
• Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure local product-market fit
• Analyze the content landscape and ecosystem to identify gaps and opportunities, ensuring Reddit meets local user needs and preferences
• Serve as a local spokesperson for Reddit, building influential relationships and partnerships both on and off the platform to reach and attract new audiences
