Requirements

  • A person who exhibits our values of Simplicity, Helpfulness and Growth
  • Prior experience in a growth marketing or related role in a SaaS company , like demand gen, lifecycle, or marketing ops
  • Ability to develop lead lists. You’re comfortable using a variety of tools to source lead lists and enrich those lists with quality data
  • Strong analytical skills. You love diving into the numbers, analyzing campaign performance (accounting for cost/MQL and ROI) and identifying actionable insights to increase new customer acquisition and customer lifetime value
  • Deep HubSpot knowledge & operational skills. You’re able to fully utilize the sales and marketing capabilities in HubSpot to plan campaigns and outreach, track their results, and maintain data hygiene
  • Strong communication skills , both written and verbal. You understand the power of story, you’re comfortable writing copy for an email sequence or a landing page, and you’re able to clearly articulate yourself to teammates and our community
  • You are customer-obsessed and understand that your growth strategy is only as strong as your understanding of our market and our ideal customer. Bonus points for experience in the nonprofit, arts, and/or education sectors

Responsibilities

  • Support CourseStorm’s developing growth engine: You’ll develop a deep understanding of CourseStorm’s market and ideal customer, helping to design and execute campaigns to get the most out of our primary acquisition channels: events and outbound. You’ll also uncover and test new acquisition channels in order to unlock additional flywheels to support our qualified lead and ARR goals. Lastly, you’ll own evergreen channel management and performance, including paid and organic channels
  • Build and maintain a nurture system that surfaces the gold in our database: You’ll use a combination of workflows, smart lists and other triggers to surface high-value leads at the right time from our database of over 20,000 leads. You’ll use logic to create lists and workflows, considering unintended consequences of multiple automations; you’ll work to reduce noise when surfacing leads, focusing on the right automations to identify sales-ready leads
  • Facilitate data-informed decision making: You’ll measure, analyze, and report on performance across the funnel. You’ll own our data analytics pipeline from collection through to reporting, setting standards alongside Sales and Customer Success to support effective reporting and feedback loops
  • Manage and maintain our marketing tech stack: You’ll own our marketing tech stack and budgets, managing contracts and renewals, proposing tech stack changes when needed, and working to limit tech debt
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for full funnel effectiveness: You’ll build strong relationships with Sales and Customer Success, partnering on integrated efforts to drive and accelerate pipeline and establishing informative feedback loops to inform strategies
