Summary

Join Spreetail as the Head of Marketing Experimentation and lead the company's advanced experimentation engines, roadmaps, and methodologies for advertising and content. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be the subject matter expert for marketing experimentation, collaborating with a team of executives and experts. This role demands a deep understanding of A/B/n testing, MDEs, and causal analysis. You will design and execute experiments, analyze results, and operationalize learnings for company-wide impact. Success requires strong communication, project management, and the ability to manage competing priorities. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in running large-scale experimentation programs and delivering significant improvements to key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Possess an advanced understanding of experimentation designs and measurement capabilities and requirements to drive successful learnings
  • Have hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end experimentation programs at scale
  • Demonstrate excellent communication abilities
  • Possess excellent project management capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Own and operate our advanced and proprietary experimentation engines, roadmaps, and methodologies for advertising and content
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for marketing experimentation across the company
  • Work with a talented team of executives and experts to drive critical learnings and solve causal challenges at scale
  • Develop and execute a learning roadmap from hypothesis generation to selecting the best experiment designs and delivering a causal learning run to the MDE you designed for pre-test
  • Run hundreds of randomized controlled experiments, deliver 100%+ gains on primary KPIs, and operationalize learnings in org-wide rollouts to capture the full value
  • Manage competing priorities and communicate effectively to focus the learning roadmap on what is best for our brands and company
  • Design experiments that test one data model or technology versus another
  • Break down major initiatives and insights needs into smaller components and tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience in content, pricing, advertising, and/or ecommerce experimentation at scale
  • Hold a degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
  • Possess intermediate SQL extract (SELECT statements) skills
