Summary

Join Pearl Talent as their Head of Marketing and scale their lead generation engine from 1 to 100. This remote, full-time independent contractor role requires 40 hours per week with core hours between 9 AM – 5 PM EST. You will own the full marketing funnel, lead a team, run experiments, and execute high-leverage campaigns. The ideal candidate has experience growing a company from 1 to 100 and leading successful marketing organizations. You will be responsible for 3x net new leads in two quarters, driving lead-to-call conversions above 70%, and improving the CAC to LTV ratio. This role offers a potential for profit share, fully remote work, an annual team retreat, and unlimited PTO.

Requirements

  • You’ve grown a company from 1 to 100 and led successful marketing orgs
  • You’ve managed teams of individual contributors and know how to build one from scratch
  • You’ve tested and learned from 10+ lead gen strategies—you speak data, not hype
  • You’ve worked in a key decision-making role at a US company
  • You can move fast, iterate confidently, and prioritize impact over fluff
  • Deep understanding of SEO, paid acquisition, email marketing, and CRM systems
  • Data-driven approach to marketing—comfortable analyzing metrics and making fast decisions
  • Clear, persuasive communicator across multiple mediums
  • Experienced with marketing tools like HubSpot, Webflow, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics platforms

Responsibilities

  • Launch and scale high-performing lead generation strategies across paid and organic channels
  • Own demand generation efforts, constantly testing new tactics and campaigns
  • Drive consistent monthly acquisition of qualified, sales-ready leads
  • Manage the full funnel—SEO, PPC, email, content, and social—to optimize conversion
  • Own messaging frameworks, conversion rate optimization, and campaign performance tracking
  • Improve marketing automation and workflows to increase velocity and clarity
  • Build and lead a high-output marketing team
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s to guide execution, set priorities, and support growth
  • Hire and onboard new marketing talent as the function scales
  • Align messaging and lead scoring to support efficient handoff and conversion
  • Develop sales enablement assets and insight-sharing loops
  • Drive employer brand campaigns to source top talent
  • Optimize candidate funnels using targeted marketing
  • Leverage client feedback to refine positioning and outreach
  • Collaborate on case studies and testimonial marketing
