Summary

Join Doka, a leading formwork and scaffolding solutions provider, as the Head of Global Key Account Management. Lead and develop the Global Key Account (GKA) department, acting as the Global Key Account Manager for key clients. Develop strategic approaches for Global and Regional Key Accounts, directly manage Global Key Account Managers, and functionally lead Regional Key Account Managers. Identify and analyze potential Global/Regional Key Account customers, re-evaluate existing accounts' performance, and take on the Global Key Account role for selected clients. Collaborate with countries/areas to ensure service quality and profitable revenue. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. The position reports to the Director KAPS and is part of the KAPS leadership team.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering (civil, structural or mechanical) and/or extensive work experience in the field of construction
  • 7-10 years Sales or Key Account Management experience with major project and account sales
  • Profound experience within the concrete forming industry or related construction equipment industry
  • Experience in working in a global environment as well as international experience
  • Very good understanding of key performance indicators
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams on corporate, area and country level
  • Strategic and solution-orientated mindset
  • Strong leadership skills and the capability to enable people
  • Strong organizational, strategic, follow-up, closing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to connect to people and excellent communication skills in German and English, any other language is a plus
  • Extremely self-motivated, assertive, team player with a strong work ethic, able to work independently
  • Willingness to travel globally

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for further developing the strategic approach for our Global- and Regional Key Account approach and reach targets
  • Directly lead our Global Key Account Managers remotely
  • Functionally lead our Regional Key Account Managers
  • Identify potential Global/Regional Key Account customers and analyses their needs
  • Reevaluate success and performance of existing Global/Regional Key Accounts
  • Take over the Global Key Account role for selected customers
  • Collaborate with countries/ areas to focus on delivering the expected service quality to our valuable customers, create profitable revenue for the countries through all stages and support in any problem solving
  • Coordinate and effectively communicate with all relevant stakeholders within the organization
