Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building a growth engine for self-service SaaS offerings
- Well-versed in Product Lead Growth (PLG) strategies and optimization
- Prior experience leading a product team
- Strong Experience with pricing & packaging
- Validated results in growth strategy implementation, strategic planning, and sophisticated financial analysis
- Effective and mature communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; comfortable in business and technical discussions
- Strategic problem solver who is an effective influencer with a high degree of business acumen
- Demonstrated excellence in growth, strategy, go-to-market, operations, and technology
- Data-driven mindset and prior experience regularly analyzing partner ROI and performance
- Experience identifying target audiences, working with customer segmentation and personalization, and creating campaign strategies to effectively reach the desired segments
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the Growth vision across acquisition, activation, adoption, monetization, and retention
- Collaborate with the Core Product portfolio team to ensure alignment with pricing & packaging and adoption strategies
- Ensure all artifacts are well documented and transparently available to everyone in the organization
- Define portfolio metrics and work with portfolio leaders and pods to ensure those KPIβs are reported on, met, and transparent to the organization
- Explain the performance of those metrics on a regular basis and provide strategies on how to achieve targets when the metric is not on track
- Execute PLG funnel best practices that both drive sales-assisted pipeline as well as self-service revenue efficiently
- Lead the process with the Growth product pod of problem identification, initiative development, overseeing the execution, and measuring the impact of all projects
- Define and optimize the customer journey to ensure that the user experience of how a user signs up and turns into a customer (product, email, sales touch points) is a cohesive experience
- Lead the process of ensuring the development and prioritization of Growth portfolio in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Build transparency for this roadmap across the organization
- Ensure that there is constant research happening within the Growth Portfolio that includes speaking with customers, e-mail surveys, in-product micro-surveys, etc
- Align with Product Operations to drive teamβs productivity, collaboration, and company-wide transparency (initiative planning, roadmapping, change management, portfolio reviews, feedback loops, etc) across Growth
- Conduct retrospectives with key stakeholders to constantly improve processes
- Manage a team and provide mentorship / guidance to help them achieve their goals and maximize their potential
- Ensure that each team member has a clear role and responsibilities with ownership of outcomes / metrics
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and leadership to lead pricing and packaging
- Work with marketing to define roles and responsibilities for driving top of funnel and the overall channel management strategy
- Work with Growth portfolio counterparts in engineering and design to ensure seamless execution of the Growth Roadmap with a focus on outcomes
- Keep up to date with market & industry trends and competitors as it relates to their growth and channel strategy
