Summary

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in Small Business software sales or the payments industry
  • 5+ years of sales management experience
  • Proven ability to manage yourself and your teams to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, business strategy, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Superior interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and sales strategies

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, mentor, motivate, and ensure the success of our sales team
  • Set individual sales targets with team members and ensure attainment of them
  • Facilitate career growth in a team of sales associates, including performance reviews, goal-setting, and regular 1:1’s
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced sales performance by implementing strategies to close performance gaps (tools, training, etc.) and to retain, reward, motivate, and accelerate outperformers
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets
  • Identify new market opportunities and implement plans to penetrate them
  • Analyze sales trends and refine strategies and tactics in ways that improve performance
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management
  • Conduct sales forecasts, develop action plans to address sales gaps, and manage sales budgets to ensure predictable revenue growth
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system, to improve sales outcomes
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to improve sales outcomes
  • Communicate market feedback and trends to internal teams to improve products and services
