Requirements
- Customer-Focused & Strategic. You have a deep customer focus, strong strategic acumen, and the ability to work across multiple teams and functions
- Industry Experience. 12+ years of marketing experience including 7+ years of integrated, brand, or campaign marketing experience
- Passion for Discord. A deep passion for Discordβs mission, our business, our products, what weβre building for our customers, and the gaming industry at large
- Storytelling & Communication. Customer-oriented, strategic, and creative, you excel at connecting dots, bringing people together, and telling cohesive customer stories. As an exceptional communicator and master storyteller, you can distill dynamic insights and complex information into concise, actionable recommendations
- Adaptability & Empathy. Demonstrated ability to operate with empathy, agility, and flexibility in a hybrid, collaborative and fast-paced environment with team members, colleagues, and cross-functional partners
- Industry Enthusiasm. A strong interest in gaming and the broader industry, sharing the passion of our customers and employees
Responsibilities
- Understanding our customers. Immerse yourself in our customersβ world. Understand their needs, barriers, and motivations by working closely with research, data science, and other teams
- Creating exceptional customer-first marketing strategies. Develop comprehensive, integrated strategies that drive growth, shift perceptions, and stitch our efforts together
- Partner closely with Creative & Brand Strategy to ensure we create magic & delight. Work closely with creative and production teams to write and elevate briefs, guide the process, and bring ideas to life
- Identify & Activate Key Moments. Collaborate with Comms, Creative, Brand, and Product Marketing teams to bring our work to life during key moments, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs
- Partner cross-functionally to represent our customers and our brand internally. Partner with Communications, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Creative, and Brand to represent the customer internally and ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints
- Elevate our team, craft, and the organization. Lead a team of talented Integrated Marketers and Program managers to bring great work to life
