Head of Investor Relations

Summary

The job is for a Head of Investor Relations at a 7-year-old cryptocurrency hedge fund with over $150 million in assets under management. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in Investor Relations, Capital Introduction, or Capital Allocation, knowledge of derivative markets and cryptocurrency markets, and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Investor Relations, Capital Introduction, or Capital Allocation
• Strong understanding of systematic and quantitative investment strategies
• Basic knowledge of derivative markets, such as futures and options
• Experience conducting or facilitating due diligence
• Entrepreneurial with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage stakeholders, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and maintain marketing materials and drive overall marketing strategy
• Leverage Public Relations firm to maximize brand and exposure
• Manage fundraising pipeline; source prospective investors, manage meeting and diligence process of prospective investors
• Design and manage the suite of due diligence materials for prospective investors
• Develop and maintain policy and procedure docs as needed for regulatory registration, investor due diligence, and operation
• Manage and maintain fund offering documents; coordinate with legal counsel on revisions
• Provide regular and proactive updates to investors
• Travel regularly to conferences and other events to meet with prospective and existing investors

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with or understanding of cryptocurrency markets or an interest in learning

$130,000 - $220,000 a year
