Requirements

  • 12+ years of business experience, with at least 10 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Experience with $100M-200M+ yearly revenue DTC e-commerce brands
  • A strong brand builder and storyteller with strong creative acumen
  • Significant brand marketing experience: Influencers, Emails, PR, Partnerships, Podcasts, TV, Flyers, Magazines and so on
  • Comfortable managing a team that oversees traditional performance marketing channels like Meta, YouTube, Google SEM, Google SEO
  • Strong influencer and relationship builder with internal and external influencers
  • Experience operating in the Home Decor segment (or a passion for Home Decor) is a strong plus
  • Experience managing a team of 7+ marketers
  • Data-driven, with experience operating with an agile, test/learn/iterate operating mindset
  • Ability to forecast demand and make financial projections. Plan the strategy as far as 1 year in advance
  • Pragmatic problem solver with the ability to excel in a fast-paced startup atmosphere
  • Ability to be hands on executor on certain projects
  • Excellent communication skills and strong education experience
  • Undergraduate degree (MBA a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead brand strategic development efforts
  • Evolve and then activate a compelling and differentiated Brand Strategy designed to help drive increased Brand Awareness, Consideration and Preference
  • Craft a marketing strategy based on data and deep consumer insights, and then translate that strategy into an actionable and achievable operating plan that includes clear objectives and measurable targets
  • Manage a balanced macro channel marketing strategy and work with the team to scale channel-specific strategies and operating plans
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team
  • Ensure rigorous control over all marketing-related data, analysis, and metrics
  • Work closely with finance and fulfillment on forecasting and planning the growth
