Summary
Join a fast-growing DTC eCommerce startup as the Head of Marketing, leading brand strategic development efforts, managing a marketing team, and driving increased brand awareness.
Requirements
- 12+ years of business experience, with at least 10 years of relevant marketing experience
- Experience with $100M-200M+ yearly revenue DTC e-commerce brands
- A strong brand builder and storyteller with strong creative acumen
- Significant brand marketing experience: Influencers, Emails, PR, Partnerships, Podcasts, TV, Flyers, Magazines and so on
- Comfortable managing a team that oversees traditional performance marketing channels like Meta, YouTube, Google SEM, Google SEO
- Strong influencer and relationship builder with internal and external influencers
- Experience operating in the Home Decor segment (or a passion for Home Decor) is a strong plus
- Experience managing a team of 7+ marketers
- Data-driven, with experience operating with an agile, test/learn/iterate operating mindset
- Ability to forecast demand and make financial projections. Plan the strategy as far as 1 year in advance
- Pragmatic problem solver with the ability to excel in a fast-paced startup atmosphere
- Ability to be hands on executor on certain projects
- Excellent communication skills and strong education experience
- Undergraduate degree (MBA a plus)
Responsibilities
- Lead brand strategic development efforts
- Evolve and then activate a compelling and differentiated Brand Strategy designed to help drive increased Brand Awareness, Consideration and Preference
- Craft a marketing strategy based on data and deep consumer insights, and then translate that strategy into an actionable and achievable operating plan that includes clear objectives and measurable targets
- Manage a balanced macro channel marketing strategy and work with the team to scale channel-specific strategies and operating plans
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team
- Ensure rigorous control over all marketing-related data, analysis, and metrics
- Work closely with finance and fulfillment on forecasting and planning the growth
