Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working in Marketing with 3+ years of direct people management experience
- Strong knowledge of our key Marketing channels–CRM, social, SEO–and product marketing
- Experience running multi-channel Marketing campaigns
- Experience working in a product-led business and/or for a B2C subscription-based product
- Comfortable working in small cross-functional teams, working across Marketing, Product, Data, Customer Support and Content
- Motivated by being a key stakeholder in a small but rapidly growing business
Responsibilities
- Lead a world-class Marketing team with a Marketing strategy that maximises our growth potential, then execute brilliantly on that strategy with your team
- Execute H1-2025 strategy, and define subsequent strategic plans for H2 based on performance
- Support 3 direct reports who own social, CRM & product marketing to ensure they hit their 2025 goals
- Hold weekly 1:1s with team members and be available on slack for ongoing support
- Run performance reviews in June & December
- Support team members in hiring
- Pitch in executionally where needed to get high priority projects across the line
- Define, analyse, and report on metrics that inform the success of our Marketing efforts
- Report on weekly & monthly marketing metrics
- Work with Finance to keep budgets & spend accurate and up-to-date
- Report out on the Marketing team’s work in monthly Operating Board meetings
- Manage SME’s paid agency to scale spend across paid media channels while improving return-on-ad-spend
- Own Save My Exams' brand efforts, from managing our brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent tone of voice across the business, to overseeing creative campaigns
