Summary
Join Monad Labs, a rapidly growing blockchain company, as their first Head of People! In this crucial role, you will design and implement talent management practices, advise senior leaders on people-related trends, develop growth strategies, refine career progression and compensation approaches, and manage all people operations functions. You will be responsible for building a high-performing culture and supporting the company's scaling efforts. Requirements
- 10+ years of People Operations experience working with high-growth tech companies and/or startups
- Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build and execute people initiatives from scratch
- Previous leader of efforts around talent development, leveling, headcount planning, and other people partnership initiatives
- Experience managing a globally dispersed workforce
- Significant experience in benefits administration, systems administration, payroll/compensation and related HR-process functions
- Strong operational thinker, with a knack for solving problems and building solutions
- Proven experience working cross-functionally and developing partnerships across all levels of the organization
- Ability to be discrete and maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times
- Strong handle on compliance with local employment laws and best practices in the space
Responsibilities
- Design and execute talent management practices in a fast-paced environment while building a high-performing culture of growth and development
- Partner with and advise senior leaders across C-suite and engineering management to proactively diagnose and communicate trends around their people and teams (i.e., engagement, development, retention, collaboration)
- Develop growth strategy and headcount roadmap/planning in partnership with senior leaders across engineering and recruiting, taking into consideration unique capabilities that should be added
- Refine the organizationโs approach to career progression, compensation, and leveling
- Contribute to and support broader people projects spanning culture, retention, training, and performance management
- Understand the needs of our employees and take ownership of identifying and implementing solutions
- Effectively coach team members and deliver feedback in a constructive and productive manner
- Lead change management and organizational communication to support new People team initiatives
- Manage all people operations functions, including but not limited to benefit and compensation administration, HRIS management and employee data, payroll, onboarding/offboarding, leave management, compliance

- Minimum full-time salary of $200,000. (This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)
