Summary

AIP Publishing is seeking a Head of People & Culture to oversee human resources and internal communication functions for 140 employees distributed across eight northeast states. The role involves strategic leadership, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. The incumbent will be responsible for developing the strategic and operational capacity of the HR and internal communication functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and leading new initiatives.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience as the head of HR for an organization or a business unit, preferably in a STEM or academic environment; business acumen reflective of deep cross-function strategic planning
• Significant experience with full responsibility for a team (structure; budget; hiring, development, and termination; vendor selection and management)
• Proficient knowledge in all HR functions; ability to toggle tactical and strategic contributions

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for organizational development, training, coaching, and all ongoing human resources/people and culture responsibilities
• Guide and supervise the execution of the organization’s culture strategy
• Work closely with cross-team relationships in legal, financial, operations, and technology functions
