The ideal candidate possesses deep technical recruiting expertise, 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Recruiting, and proven leadership skills in a high-growth environment. You will be a force multiplier, enabling other functions to capitalize on centralized standards and resources. Requirements
- Deep technical recruiting hands-on expertise, with a proven track record of hiring high-caliber engineers in a fast-paced environment
- 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Recruiting, with leadership experience in a high-growth startup or fintech
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Exceptional process-building and execution skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Capable of managing immediate priorities while anticipating future needs
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to partner with executives
- Passion for building a high-performance, people-first culture
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a high-impact recruiting strategy with a primary focus on hiring world-class engineers
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance related to job creation, interviewing best practices, offer negotiations, and recruiting functions
- Define best-in-class hiring processes, from sourcing to closing top technical talent
- Partner with executives and hiring managers to prioritize hiring needs and workforce planning
- Implement data-driven recruiting metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
- Design and implement scalable HR processes that support Stepβs rapid growth
- Own the employee experience, from onboarding to retention, ensuring high engagement and performance
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks for compensation, benefits, and performance management to drive organizational effectiveness
- Partner with leadership to build employee connectedness and cultivate a strong, inclusive culture aligned with Stepβs values
- Implement and manage HR systems, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
