Summary

Join Employment Hero as our Head of Sales, UK, and lead the UK revenue engine through hypergrowth. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will own sales strategy and execution across various teams, scaling our go-to-market engine. Key responsibilities include leading and scaling a high-performing sales function, diversifying top-of-funnel acquisition, and taking full accountability for UK customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will manage and develop leaders, build scalable sales motions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires a proven track record of leading high-performing B2B SaaS sales teams and strong experience in building outbound and partner-led acquisition engines. Requirements

  • A proven track record of leading high-performing B2B SaaS sales teams in fast-paced, high-volume SMB environments
  • Senior leadership experience managing second-line leaders across AE, SDR and ideally Partnerships/Enablement
  • Strong experience building outbound and partner-led acquisition engines alongside inbound
  • Commercial acumen with a strategic operator’s mindset – comfortable owning the big picture and executing at pace
  • A data-driven approach to forecasting, performance management and tech stack optimisation
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of the UK SMB landscape and buyer behaviours
  • Passion for growth, ownership, and making a real impact in a scaleup environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a high-performing UK sales function of ~35+ across SDR, AE, Partnerships, and Enablement
  • Diversify and accelerate top-of-funnel acquisition across inbound, outbound, partner and product-led growth channels
  • Take full accountability for UK customer acquisition, revenue growth and market share expansion
  • Act as a strategic and hands-on commercial leader across the UK and global business
  • Manage and develop first and second-line leaders across the UK sales org
  • Build repeatable and scalable outbound and partner sales motions
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Experience and Commercial Ops to drive aligned GTM strategy
  • Own UK revenue targets and deliver accurate forecasting, strong pipeline health, and consistent growth
  • Continuously optimise sales people, process, and platforms to increase efficiency and impact
  • Drive a high-performance culture and foster an energetic, motivated, target-driven team
  • Represent Sales on the UK SLT and contribute to broader global commercial initiatives
