Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience selling into large wirehouses or financial services firms
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the wealth management or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of wirehouse operations and the estate planning landscape
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Grow top-line revenue by driving the entire sales process from pipeline creation to closing deals
  • Manage and navigate long and complex sales cycles effectively, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and delivering tailored solutions that resonate with their objectives
  • Foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the sales process, encouraging innovative thinking and proactive problem-solving to overcome challenges and seize opportunities
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach, expanding our footprint in the wirehouse market
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives and other stakeholders, acting as the voice of the customer and distilling market insights to inform internal strategies
  • Develop and refine a visionary sales strategy aimed at accelerating revenue growth from strategic accounts
  • Track sales funnel KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize growth potential. Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team
