Join Ashby, a rapidly growing enterprise software company, as their Head of Solutions Engineering based in the Americas. Lead and scale the global sales engineering team, ensuring the right team, tools, and processes are in place to support mid-market and enterprise segments. Hire, onboard, and coach Solutions Engineers to become trusted advisors. Partner closely with Account Executives to secure technical wins, often replacing multiple incumbent tools. Requirements

  • Lead SEs at a fast-growing SaaS company and helped define and scale the SE function
  • Be an “in the details” leader that technical SEs are excited to learn from and collaborate with
  • Be a natural coach, who provides a consistent cadence of feedback and development that helps SEs grow quickly
  • Be energized by complex problems and love partnering with both Sales and Product to find creative solutions
  • Be a lifelong learner who dives deep into product and industry knowledge — and knows how to make it accessible to others
  • Be confident in high-stakes customer conversations, especially in navigating technical discovery, RFPs, and proof-of-concepts
  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Be an advocate of our largest customers, and have a track record of turning customer insights into roadmap-shaping feedback

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the global sales engineering team
  • Ensure the right team, tools, and processes are in place to support our rapidly growing Mid-Market and Enterprise segments
  • Hire, onboard, and coach Solutions Engineers to become trusted advisors and experts in their craft
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to secure the technical win
  • Navigate technical discovery, RFPs, and proof-of-concepts
  • Explain complex concepts with clarity
  • Turn customer insights into roadmap-shaping feedback
  • Build or scale internal SE infrastructure — from demo environments to security review processes — to ensure your teams run efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strategy and/or Value Consulting experience
  • Familiarity with the Talent Acquisition function and ATS Data & Workflows
