Summary

Lunar Energy is hiring an HR operations specialist to work alongside its global People team and report to the Director of People. The role involves serving as the main point of contact for employee questions and concerns, managing HR systems, supporting recruitment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and handling immigration issues. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and HR certification, three years of related experience, and knowledge of federal/local regulations and immigration laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with SHRM or HRCI certification credentials
• A minimum of three years of related HR experience
• Thorough knowledge of federal/local regulations related to HR
• Understanding and working practice of all immigration laws, procedures and deadlines, particularly those related to H-1b, J-1, OPT, PERM, TN, and I-9 compliance

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions and concerns
• Establish and maintain department records and reports
• Resolve administrative issues for employees
• Support the in-house recruitment team and lead on new hire pre-onboarding and onboarding
• Ensure compliance with US wage and hour laws, data privacy laws, and state regulations
• Manage all aspects of Lunar’s U.S. immigration program and serve as the internal point of contact for U.S. immigration issues
