IT Operation Specialist

Summary

The job is for an IT Specialist to join the IT Operations team at Octopus Deploy, a remote-first company that operates in a Hybrid Model. The role involves ensuring operational status of internal systems, managing the laptop fleet, office systems, and SaaS platforms, providing support to users, troubleshooting issues with diverse software applications, assisting onboarding and offboarding processes, and performing basic GSuite, Microsoft Office 365, & Azure Administration duties. The ideal candidate should reside in Israel with ongoing working rights, have excellent problem-solving skills, provide great customer service, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a self-starting attitude, and experience troubleshooting Mac and Windows devices.

Requirements

• Love to provide excellent customer service
• Thrive working in a fast-paced environment with multiple different products
• Have a self-starting attitude- at times you may be required to work without supervision
• Have experience troubleshooting Mac and Windows devices

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Octopus Deploy staff can continue working and that internal systems are operational
• Assist in managing the company’s laptop fleet, office systems, and SaaS platforms
• Respond to support requests from users over Slack
• Laptop management, receiving, wiping, and reconfiguring devices ready to send out to users for permanent use or on loan
• General problem-solving and assistance on diverse software applications
• Assisting end users with troubleshooting device & connectivity issues
• Working with our HR & Finance team members to help onboard new Octonaut’s and offboard leaving alumni
