Summary

The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment and advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office tools. Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
  • Proven experience administering and configuring the Dayforce HRIS
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and proven ability to work with other MS Office tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for working with data
  • Excellent attention to detail; understands the importance of data integrity
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with and influence key stakeholder groups
  • Proven ability to identify process efficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strength in organizing and coordinating multiple activities and projects at one time, while effectively managing disruptions and changing priorities
  • Self-starter with proven initiative and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to independently exercise decision making authority over technical tasks and recommend system functionality to meet business requirements

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Systems Administrator to review upcoming Dayforce releases
  • Assess potential impacts of new features and updates on existing modules
  • Document release notes and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders
  • Support the planning and execution of Dayforce release rollouts
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment
  • Assist in conducting system testing to identify and resolve potential issues prior to release
  • Provide ongoing support for Dayforce modules, ensuring consistent performance
  • Monitor system functionality to proactively identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with the configuration and optimization of modules to meet business needs
  • Serve as the first point of contact for administrative module-related inquiries
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating complex problems to the Systems Administrator as needed
  • Maintain system documentation and user guides to support administrative functions
  • Track, analyze, and resolve module bugs and technical issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address system defects
  • Provide detailed reporting on recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint, SQL and XML
  • Experience implementing an HRIS or related modules
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
  • The preferred candidate for this role works in the EST time zone, or is willing to time-shift their day around the EST time zone
