Summary

Join DEFEND as the General Manager HR and lead the company's HR function, building scalable people-oriented policies, driving HR best practices, and providing strategic direction. You will be responsible for the full scope of the HR function, including strategic planning, HRIS systems, employment legislation compliance, organizational change management, and stakeholder management. This role requires significant experience as a Head of HR or similar, along with excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills. Requirements

  • Have significant experience as a Head of HR, Divisional HR Business Partner or similar
  • Have experience in strategic planning
  • Have hands-on experience with HRIS systems
  • Have thorough knowledge and practice of employment legislation and regulations, and HR best practices
  • Have experience in organisational change design and implementation
  • Have excellent leadership abilities
  • Have first class verbal and written communications
  • Be able to demonstrate highest levels of discretion, confidentiality and integrity
  • Have strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Have broad People & Culture knowledge and practical experience of at least 4 of the following - ER, Change Management, Reward, Learning & Development, HR Operations and Recruitment

Be responsible for DEFEND’s HR function, structure and building scalable people-oriented policies, along with driving key Human Resources (HR) best practices and initiatives and provide strategic direction and expertise for the full scope of the HR function
