Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate’s degree in human resources or business administration preferred
- 2 years’ experience in HR role preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the recruiting/hiring function for assigned division(s) to include ATS administration and extension of offer letter and terms
- Primary responsibility for all pre-hire screening, to include criminal background, motor vehicle record and reference checks, as well as pre-hire drug screens
- Facilitates new hire onboarding, and orientation to ensure smooth employee integration
- Maintains accurate and compliant personnel files, HR databases, and HRIS records
- Processes HR-related documentation including employment verifications, personnel action forms, and status changes
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Generates various HR reports and analytics to support business decisions
- Assists with performance management processes including coordinating review cycles, maintaining documentation, and tracking completion
- Assists with affirmative action planning and reporting requirements
- Support DEI efforts as needed
- Partners with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee changes
- Serves as backup support for payroll processing in the absence of primary payroll administrator
- Participate in the planning and coordination of employee events and activities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HRIS systems preferred
