Summary

The job is for a remote HR Specialist who will manage various HR functions, act as the primary point of contact for department functions, and have 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience with strong knowledge of payroll regulations. The role requires an Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing, strong working knowledge of payroll-related best practices, applicable wage and hour regulations, and organizational procedures, rules, and regulations, hands-on experience with HR software (HRIS or HRMS), PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications, excellent organizational and time-management skills, teamwork skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience working with commission and payouts, high level of professionalism and confidentiality, ability to handle a high volume of employee inquiries, willingness to work 100% remote
• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Collecting timesheet data and payroll information, updating HR databases, processing multi-state payroll, preparing paperwork for HR policies and procedures, processing employee requests, coordinating HR projects and meetings, coordinating onboarding for new hires, providing orientations for new employees, collaborating with Managers to post job ads, managing the department’s email, preparing reports and presentations for internal communications, maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions, assisting the Marketing Team with event planning, and assisting the HR team as needed
