Summary

Join Tekmetric as an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) and play a key role in driving customer growth and revenue. Partner with Channel Partners and Marketing teams to implement sales and pipeline-building strategies. Manage inbound leads through phone, email, and online chat, scheduling appointments for the Account Executive team. Gather and share crucial customer information to ensure successful sales interactions. Collaborate with other sales team members to provide exceptional customer service throughout the buying journey. This entry-level role offers significant career development opportunities within the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess foundational sales experience, preferably in SaaS, and demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Foundational sales experience required, with a strong preference for SaaS background
  • Experience with following defined processes using CRM (HubSpot and Salesforce, a plus)
  • Innate interest in startups, sales, and technology, with a strong desire to be a top performer
  • Strong interpersonal skills and friendly professional demeanor on the phone
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • An honest and genuine approach to helping potential customers
  • Strong desire to grow personally and professionally in Sales
  • Strong communication skills
  • Candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison for potential customers as they interact with different sales roles on their buying journey (i.e. booking demos, demo reminders, follow-ups after demo, etcโ€ฆ)
  • Building out and refining information about leads in a CRM, to assist in lead qualification
  • Providing useful details to the sales team so they can deliver a tailored demo experience
  • Collaborating and keeping active lines of communication with other sales team roles that play a part in the customer journey
  • Ensuring all potential customers receive exceptional service from start to finish
