Summary

Join Graylog as an Inside Sales Representative and play a pivotal role in bridging marketing leads and outbound prospecting to nurture new business opportunities. You will engage, develop, qualify, and expand our customer base for Centralized Log Management, Security Information and Event Management, or API Security projects. Responsibilities include qualifying inbound leads, building strategic business opportunities, and immersing yourself in CLM, SIEM, and API Security. You will build market intelligence, identify key projects, and collaborate with other teams. This role requires experience selling ROI-driven solutions and SaaS solutions, excellent communication skills, and a desire to exceed goals. Requirements

  • Experience successfully selling ROI-driven, networking/security solutions or Enterprise Software Solutions to C-level decision makers
  • Previous experience selling SaaS solutions to commercial customers in the US
  • Understanding and appreciation for continuous improvement
  • Desire to move the needle! You’ll be motivated by exceeding goals and earning commissions; setting stretch targets and delivering exceptional results

  • Ability to communicate technical and business value of Graylog solutions effectively to all prospective stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic selling skills, and skills in analysing and evaluating territory dynamics to develop and implement a sales plan

  • Reside in or near to our global HQ in Houston, Texas or our satellite office in Boulder, Colorado or Boston, New Hampshire

Responsibilities

  • Engage, develop, qualify, and expand our customer base regarding their Centralized Log Management, Security Information and Event Management, or API Security projects to increase sales pipeline
  • Respond to inbound contact requests with urgency, care, and diligence
  • Conduct targeted, personalized, and relevant outbound prospecting with thoughtful personalized communications
  • Build early-stage relationships with software evaluators that ultimately turns into new business
  • Be the first point of contact with our customers in the sales process
  • Qualify and develop inbound leads that result in pipeline opportunities. (50% conversion rate)
  • Build strategic business opportunities through outreach efforts (8-12 per month)
  • Immerse yourself within the world of CLM (centralized log management), SIEM (security information event management), API Security (application programming interface), and build your knowledge base to gain creditability and interest when positioning Graylog to our customers
  • Build market intelligence and foster client relationships through personalized, timely, and relevant messaging
  • Identify projects and strategic initiatives for assigned accounts, why the initiative/project is a priority now and share how Graylog can meet the business and technical needs
  • Analyze the top 10 accounts to identify key contacts & coordinate with Account Executives to foster a strategic action plan
  • Partner with other sales teams, marketing, and enablement to coordinate campaigns and align on new objectives in a timely manner
  • Combine and orchestrate data from HubSpot, TechTarget, 6sense, and other related sales enablement technologies to; identify priorities and promote effective outreach
