Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing research, strategic planning, or related roles with an understanding of market research analysis, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and strategic consulting
- Experience gathering, interpreting, and synthesizing data from various sources to derive meaningful insights and develop effective strategies
- The ability to conduct comprehensive market research, including quantitative and qualitative research methods such as surveys, focus groups, interviews, and data mining
- A history of developing actionable insights and strategies that align with business goals and drive growth, which includes the ability to identify market opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and recommend strategic initiatives
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for clearly and compellingly presenting research findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders
- The capacity to identify challenges, analyze complex issues, and develop innovative solutions to address business needs and capitalize on market opportunities
- The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Finance, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of strategies
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to understand consumer preferences, behaviors, and trends
- Evaluate competitors' strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage
- Using data analytics and customer feedback to gain deep insights into consumer preferences, needs, and motivations
- Develop marketing strategies and plans based on research findings and insights
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaigns' performance to assess their effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to anticipate changes in consumer behavior and market dynamics
- Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Sales, and Finance to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution
- Providing strategic advice and recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders based on research findings, market insights, and industry best practices
