Join the California Dental Association (CDA) as an Account Manager Advisor! This remote-first position offers a competitive salary ($55,000-$65,000) and a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Active P&C license or obtain within 3 months of hire
- Minimum of 2 yearsโ experience in the insurance field
Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone calls and written requests regarding coverage questions, premiums, eligibility, rates, account status, claims, billing, policy changes, and benefits as needed to maintain service objectives
- Maintain detailed records of insurance transactions with appropriate company database
- Sell all product lines
- Become a product expert for all coverage lines for P&C and L&H
- Effectively work with interdependent departments, and outside carriers to efficiently process application submissions
- Investigate and resolve customer problems and disputes in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide a high level of service to CDA members and insurance clients
- Conduct outbound calls as necessary to service members
- Work well within a cohesive team to achieve department objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in business or related field recommended or equivalent experience
- Life & Health agent license
- Sales or Account Manager experience in the commercial insurance field
- Strong problem-solving skills in response to escalated/complex service issues for all lines of business
- Demonstrated ability to assess needs, present recommendations for coverages and products, and effective at closing sales and other transactions
- Ability to manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls, track and document follow up communication, and deliver premier customer service
- Demonstrated knowledge of P&C and L&H insurance policies and coverages to assess needs and make recommendations on coverage
